In this position, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups. Your expertise will support patients dealing with a wide range of issues including developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorders, and geriatrics. Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices.</li><li>Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis.</li><li>Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and Alzheimer&rsquo;s or geriatrics care.</li><li>Utilize EMR systems for accurate medical records management and data collection to support clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management plans that address patient needs holistically across home and community settings.</li><li>Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure immediate safety while maintaining a calm, supportive environment.</li><li>Document all clinical activities thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards for billing purposes. Skills</li><li>Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.</li><li>Proven ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations across diverse settings such as hospitals, clinics, or community programs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards.</li><li>Skilled in working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or those requiring special education support.</li><li>Experience in crisis management, trauma-informed care including PTSD treatment protocols, addiction counseling, and Alzheimer&rsquo;s or geriatrics care.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; experience supporting clinical research projects is a plus.</li><li>Excellent case management capabilities combined with compassionate social work practices that emphasize patient-centered care.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality and security of medical records while maintaining thorough documentation for billing and legal purposes.
