Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate mental health and behavioral health services across diverse populations. In this position, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups. Your expertise will support patients dealing with a wide range of issues including developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorders, and geriatrics. All positions are paid, including internships. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and Alzheimer’s or geriatrics care.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate medical records management and data collection to support clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management plans that address patient needs holistically across home and community settings.
- Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure immediate safety while maintaining a calm, supportive environment.
- Document all clinical activities thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards for billing purposes. Skills
- Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Proven ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations across diverse settings such as hospitals, clinics, or community programs.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards.
- Skilled in working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or those requiring special education support.
- Experience in crisis management, trauma-informed care including PTSD treatment protocols, addiction counseling, and Alzheimer’s or geriatrics care.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; experience supporting clinical research projects is a plus.
- Excellent case management capabilities combined with compassionate social work practices that emphasize patient-centered care.
