We are a boutique interior design studio and retail showroom in downtown Annapolis seeking a detail-oriented Project Assistant to support our design team and assist our retail customers. This is a dynamic role blending client-facing retail, design project coordination, and administrative support in a creative, collaborative environment.RETAIL &amp; CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Greet and assist walk-in customers; follow up with prospective design clients</li><li>Process sales transactions and support retail merchandising and display</li><li>Maintain accurate pricing tags and labels throughout the showroom</li><li>Receive and inspect newly arrived inventory; document and file damage claims as needed</li><li>Coordinate and promote sales events; manage social media posts for promotions</li><li>Maintain a clean, welcoming showroom including windows, floors, and entryway</li><li>Available for select evening events (e.g., Midnight Madness)</li></ul>DESIGN PROJECT SUPPORT<ul><li>Assist designers with product sourcing, material selections, and sample procurement</li><li>Prepare client presentation materials including tearsheets and mood boards</li><li>Support project management: purchasing, order tracking, and vendor claims</li><li>Pick up and deliver samples, materials, and products to clients and vendors</li><li>Maintain and organize the physical sample library (fabrics, wallpaper, tile, hardware, etc.)</li><li>Manage our digital product library : add products, maintain consistent labeling, and audit for errors</li></ul>ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES<ul><li>Return calls and messages promptly; provide daily task updates to leadership</li><li>File financial and client paperwork; maintain billable hours for client work</li><li>Track and reorder office supplies and retail packaging as needed</li><li>Perform weekly and monthly inventory audits and maintain store inventory list</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Prior experience in retail, interior design, or a client-facing studio environment preferred</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency with digital tools; experience with DesignFiles, Studio Manager or similar platforms a plus</li><li>Proficiency with accounting software such as Quickbooks is a plus</li><li>Warm, professional demeanor with excellent follow-through</li><li>Ability to lift and unpack deliveries up to 50lbs; Must have valid driver's license for local errands</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
