Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Local CDL Class A Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our company and our valued customers.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate a variety of commercial flatbed truck.</li><li>Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.</li><li>Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety; report any issues immediately.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch to confirm delivery schedules, update progress, and address any route or delivery concerns.</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.</li><li>Assist with warehouse duties when needed, including loading freight onto trucks and verifying shipment accuracy.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.</li><li>Proven experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of route driving and freight handling.</li><li>Ability to load &amp; unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment; forklift certification is a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety procedures related to commercial driving and freight handling.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
