We have a contract with a large company to provide back-up childcare for families in the Charlotte, Matthews and Mint Hill areas.Child Care Caregiver Responsibilities:<ul><li>Interact directly with the children receiving care in an engaging, pleasant, and appropriate manner.</li><li>Supervise creative play and learning activities.</li><li>Follow the care need instructions for the care recipient.</li><li>Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, naps, and companionship.</li><li>Provide a review of the day&rsquo;s activities with the parent/ guardian before leaving.</li></ul>Benefits of Working at BrightStar:<ul><li>AND! You are never alone out there with our 24/7 staff support and available guidance from our Director of Nursing.</li><li>PLUS!...</li><li>Supportive and rewarding work environment with opportunity for career growth!</li></ul>Child Care Caregiver Job Requirements<ul><li>Must be 18yrs or older</li><li>Education and/or training in the care of children and demonstrated experience in either a formalized childcare setting (in-home or center-based), school, individualized nanny experience, summer camp, or a pediatric program.</li><li>Certified CPR, negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, clean background check</li><li>Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance</li><li>Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
