Child Caregiver

Great opportunity for reliable, nurturing people with childcare and/or in-home care experience! We have a contract with a large company to provide back-up childcare for families in the Charlotte, Matthews and Mint Hill areas.

Child Care Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Interact directly with the children receiving care in an engaging, pleasant, and appropriate manner.
• Supervise creative play and learning activities.
• Follow the care need instructions for the care recipient.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, naps, and companionship.
• Provide a review of the day’s activities with the parent/ guardian before leaving.

Child Care Caregiver Job Requirements

• Must be 18yrs or older
• Education and/or training in the care of children and demonstrated experience in either a formalized childcare setting (in-home or center-based), school, individualized nanny experience, summer camp, or a pediatric program.
• Certified CPR, negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, clean background check
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
