Look at the end of this job posting for details!Job Overview:The Junior Graphic Designer will be directly involved in the design and development of packaging for our LED lighting products, as well as a wide variety of supporting creative assets. You&rsquo;re an innovative thinker who enjoys tackling new challenges, bringing fresh ideas, and translating complex problems into clear, effective design solutions. You&rsquo;ll collaborate with a dynamic team that includes another graphic designer, two industrial designers, an occasional intern, and a product team manager. Our environment emphasizes both creativity and collaboration, encouraging knowledge-sharing while maintaining high standards of product quality and user experience.You&rsquo;ll contribute to the creation of assets across multiple areas, including product packaging, marketing materials, presentations, digital advertising, product catalog updates, and social media graphics. You&rsquo;ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of select projects, growing your design skills in a fun, fast-paced, and experimental environment.Job Duties:<ul><li>Apply artwork to existing packaging dielines and layouts to create production-ready files; experience creating dielines is a plus.</li><li>Lead selected design projects from concept through completion, while supporting team initiatives on larger projects and packaging rollouts.</li><li>Create and edit graphics across multiple mediums, including product packaging, digital marketing, print materials, presentations, catalogs, and social media.</li><li>Ensure brand consistency across all designs while experimenting with new approaches to evolve the Brightz visual identity.</li><li>Review copy, layouts, and pre-production files for accuracy, alignment, and quality.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the product manager and designers to translate packaging concepts into engaging visual assets.</li><li>Manage multiple deadlines, balancing immediate needs with long-term priorities, while maintaining attention to detail.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the US.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related field (required).</li><li>Portfolio or link to completed work (required).</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including: Adobe Illustrator (vector artwork, packaging layout), Adobe InDesign (catalogs, presentations, and print materials), Adobe Photoshop (image editing, mockups, photo adjustments).</li><li>Understanding of packaging basics, including placing artwork on dielines and layouts (bonus if experienced in creating dielines).</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).</li><li>Experience working within brand guidelines and standards along with print and digital product practices.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects based on immediate need and project importance.</li><li>Adaptability, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback.</li><li>Knowledge of basic photography and/or videography preferred.</li><li>Must be willing to relocate to reasonable commuting distance from 8000 Yankee Road, Ottawa Lake MI, 49267</li></ul>Compensation and Benefit Details: <ul><li>$50,000 starting annual salary.</li><li>401(k) with employer matching.</li><li>Generous PTO policy.</li><li>Comprehensive health, vision, dental, &amp; life insurance.</li><li>Parental leave.</li><li>Opportunities for substantial professional growth in a supportive, flexible work environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Relocation assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Ottawa Lake, MI 49267 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Ottawa Lake, MI 49267: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa Lake, MI 49267
