Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and educate students across various age groups and learning needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults through innovative teaching methods and compassionate mentorship.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to meet diverse student needs.</li><li>Use instructional design techniques and learning technology tools to enhance classroom engagement and understanding.</li><li>Adapt teaching strategies to support students with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, or visual impairments.</li><li>Collaborate with special education teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring tailored support.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavioral therapy techniques, and classroom management strategies.</li><li>Conduct assessments, including standardized testing and formative evaluations, to track student progress and inform instruction.</li><li>Provide mentorship, academic advising, and emotional support to foster a nurturing environment conducive to growth.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong communication skills to clearly convey concepts and collaborate with colleagues, students, and families.</li><li>Expertise in speech therapy, literacy education, math instruction, early childhood education, and preschool experience.</li><li>Proficiency in working with children with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, hearing impairments, or visual impairments.</li><li>Knowledge of behavioral health practices, applied behavior analysis (ABA), recreational therapy, and behavioral management techniques.</li><li>Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional design, tutoring, and standardized testing preparation.</li><li>Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for remote or hybrid instruction.</li><li>Ability to manage classrooms effectively while maintaining a supportive environment that encourages student engagement.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in early intervention programs, Montessori methods, childcare settings, or private school environments is a plus.
