Job Title: Procurement Manager (Food &amp; Beverage Industry)Job Summary:The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing laboratory equipment, reagents, consumables, and services required for quality control, R&amp;D, and production support within the food and beverage industry. This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and supplier reliability.Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement &amp; Sourcing<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for laboratory equipment, chemicals, testing kits, and consumables.</li><li>Manage procurement cycles including RFQs, price comparison, negotiations, and purchase orders.</li><li>Ensure timely availability of materials to support QC, QA, and R&amp;D operations.</li></ul>2. Supplier Management<ul><li>Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.</li><li>Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits in line with industry standards.</li></ul>3. Cost &amp; Inventory Control<ul><li>Optimize procurement costs through strategic sourcing and negotiation.</li><li>Work closely with the inventory and laboratory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.</li><li>Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance.</li></ul>4. Compliance &amp; Quality Assurance<ul><li>Ensure all purchased items meet regulatory and industry standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.).</li><li>Maintain accurate records of certificates of analysis (COA), MSDS, and other required documents.</li><li>Coordinate with QA teams to ensure product quality and supplier compliance.</li></ul>5. Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Work with QC, QA, R&amp;D, production, and finance teams to understand procurement needs.</li><li>Support laboratory operations by ensuring availability of validated and approved materials.</li><li>Assist in budgeting and forecasting for laboratory procurement.</li></ul>6. Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier reviews.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food and beverage or laboratory sector.</li><li>Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, reagents, chemicals, and testing processes.</li><li>Knowledge of procurement systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.).</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.</li><li>Familiarity with F&amp;B industry standards and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience in ISO-certified laboratories or manufacturing facilities.</li><li>Strong project management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
