We are a team-focused environment with multiple certified technicians, modern systems, and a strong reputation in the Rockford community.We are expanding and looking for the right person to help support our front office operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.Position OverviewWe are hiring an Office Assistant / Service Advisor Assistant to support our Service Advisor and help keep daily operations running smoothly.This is not a sales-heavy role &mdash; your focus will be communication, organization, and customer experience while the service advisor handles estimates and closing sales.You will be the first impression of our shop, both on the phone and in person.Key Responsibilities:Customer InteractionAnswer incoming phone calls professionallyGreet customers and check vehicles in/outProvide updates to customers on vehicle statusAssist with scheduling appointmentsAdministrative SupportEnter and update customer/vehicle informationHelp manage workflow and schedule in shop softwareAssist with invoicing and basic office tasksParts &amp; Shop SupportHelp source and order partsReceive and organize parts deliveriesCommunicate with technicians and advisor on job statusQualifications:Required-Strong communication and people skillsOrganized and detail-orientedComfortable using computers and learning new softwareAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProfessional appearance and attitudePreferred (Not Required):Previous office, receptionist, or customer service experienceAutomotive knowledge or service department experienceExperience with shop management software (Tekmetric is a plus)Why Work With Us:No weekendsTeam-oriented, positive work environmentGrowth opportunities within the companyIdeal Candidate:You&rsquo;re someone who -*Enjoys helping people*Stays calm under pressure*Is highly organized*Takes pride in doing things right*Wants to be part of a growing, professional shopPay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you enjoy helping people and interacting with people all day?</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Rockford, MI 49341 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
