<div>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
$4,500 Stipend per semester (8-10 hours per week)
BT BOCES is seeking a NYS certified Library Teacher to join our Virtual Learning Academy. Responsibilities include:
<ul><li>Planning and delivering two live virtual library lessons per week:
<ul><li>One 40-minute lesson for students in Grades 4-5</li>
<li>One 40-minute lesson for students in Grade 6</li>
</ul></li><li>Supporting students' reading, research, and digital literacy skills through virtual library instruction and resources.</li>
<li>Managing the VLA's SORA online library account</li>
</ul>Live instruction takes place during the school day between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The position requires approximately 8-10 hours per week, including planning, instruction, and library management responsibilities. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about literacy, technology, and engaging students in an online setting.
