 We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
 
 
 As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our church. The duties include offering administrative support across the organization, welcoming guests, and greeting visitors. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Pleasantly greet and welcome visitors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist visitors with sign-in process when meeting with administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
 </li>
 <li>
 Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries to appropriate recipients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure receptionist area is clean and presentable with all necessary supplies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform administrative tasks using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and label creation software.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stuff and label envelopes for large mail-outs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned.

 Requirements And Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers).
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional attitude and appearance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid written and verbal communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent organizational skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer service attitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 High school degree or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reliable and flexible, as the operation of the church depends on this role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to pivot is critical as church activities fluctuate.

 Work Schedule
 
 
 The required hours are every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM or until all activities end. In addition, the candidate must work a minimum of 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays a month with varying work hours.
