This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing dental health and aesthetics.Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and develop comprehensive orthodontic treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic tools.</li><li>Perform orthodontic procedures including placement, adjustment, and removal of braces, aligners, retainers, and other appliances.</li><li>Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate complex cases involving oral surgery, prosthodontics, or endodontics when necessary.</li><li>Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and oral health maintenance to ensure informed decision-making.</li><li>Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting appliances and treatment strategies accordingly for optimal results.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.</li><li>Ensure strict infection control practices using aseptic techniques during all procedures to guarantee patient safety.</li><li>Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques, dental materials, and technology such as digital imaging and dental fabrication methods.</li><li>Participate in team meetings and continuing education sessions to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a positive clinic environment.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized certification in orthodontics.</li><li>Proven experience in orthodontic treatments including braces, clear aligners and other appliances.</li><li>Proficiency with dental software such as Dolphin, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment with a focus on patient care excellence.</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for treating younger patients effectively.</li><li>Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and assist with oral surgery procedures when needed.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, education, and team collaboration.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient medical records with meticulous attention to detail.
