Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and develop comprehensive orthodontic treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic tools.
  • Perform orthodontic procedures including placement, adjustment, and removal of braces, aligners, retainers, and other appliances.
  • Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate complex cases involving oral surgery, prosthodontics, or endodontics when necessary.
  • Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and oral health maintenance to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting appliances and treatment strategies accordingly for optimal results.
  • Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
  • Ensure strict infection control practices using aseptic techniques during all procedures to guarantee patient safety.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques, dental materials, and technology such as digital imaging and dental fabrication methods.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuing education sessions to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a positive clinic environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized certification in orthodontics.
  • Proven experience in orthodontic treatments including braces, clear aligners and other appliances.
  • Proficiency with dental software such as Dolphin, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control standards.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment with a focus on patient care excellence.
  • Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for treating younger patients effectively.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and assist with oral surgery procedures when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, education, and team collaboration.
