<div>Brunswick&rsquo;s Middle School seeks an exceptional mathematics educator for the 2026-2027 academic year who possesses both technical expertise and a genuine commitment to our mission of preparing boys for life through rigorous academic instruction, mentorship, and co-curricular involvement. 
 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Design and deliver weekly mathematics instruction aligned with Brunswick&rsquo;s curriculum standards and mission.
</li><li>Assess student learning through varied methods and provide constructive, encouraging, and corrective feedback.
</li><li>Collaborate with department chair, division head, and/or colleagues on curriculum development and instructional improvement.
</li><li>Meet classes as scheduled; notify Division Head in advance of absence, and, if possible, arrange for coverage.
</li><li>Be accessible to students through school-appropriate communications platforms, or scheduled office hours, including arranging, when necessary, additional time for appointments.
</li><li>Serve as an advisor to a group of students, providing guidance and support.
</li><li>Communicate regularly with families about student progress.
</li><li>Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
</li><li>May coach or lead co-curricular activities (athletics, clubs, or other programs).</li></ul>

</li></ul>Physical Requirements and Work Environment:<ul><li>
Primary work in traditional classroom settings with whiteboards, technology, and student desks.
</li><li>Teaching schedule is typically during standard school hours with additional time for preparation, grading, and meetings.
</li><li>Coaching or advising responsibilities may extend into evenings, weekends, or afternoons.
</li><li>Collaborative environment requiring regular interaction with students, colleagues, families, and administrators.
</li><li>Professional dress and conduct are expected as role model for students.
</li><li>Ability to stand and move around the classroom for extended periods during instruction.
</li>Ability to supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, dining hall, athletic fields, and co-curricular activities.
