Provide accounting support to the Company in the day-to-day accounting and finance activities.</div><br>

General</i></b></div>
<ul>
<li>Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times
</li><li>Follow BCI Basic Beliefs when executing all position functions and through interactions with others
</li><li>Non-exempt role in an office setting</li><br>

<div></div><div><b><i>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</i></b></div>
<ul>
<li>Perform all duties from a foundation of trust and the highest ethical conduct, following established safety rules, company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Month-end corporate close, including interdivision reconciliation and account reconciliations</li>
<li>Enter accounts payable invoices for approval in DocuWare System and once approved, enter into Great Plains ensuring any applicable vendor payment discount terms are applied
</li><li>Process payments through Great Plains, including generating AP checks and upload ACHs to bank. Ensure bank transactions for all divisions reconcile with reported bank activity</li>
<li>Collect information to complete the New Vendor Authorization and maintain in a secured electronic folder</li>
<li>Maintain cash requirements worksheets
</li><li>Post cash receipts (as needed)</li>
<li>Prepare ad-hoc reports organizing data for analysis</li>
<li>Perform general accounting functions
</li><li>Communication with divisions related to intercompany postings</li>
<li>Assist with fixed asset tracking and maintenance</li>
<li>Other tasks as assigned by supervisor</li>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or associate&rsquo;s degree in accounting or finance
</li><li>3-5 years of professional experience in accounting and finance
</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well independently and with others at all levels of the organization</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and business applications</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and takes pride in the accuracy of work product</li>
<li>Ability to keep information organized and confidential</li></ul><br>
