Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis Budtender/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers with product selections, providing education about various strains and products, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the dispensary.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.</li><li>Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects.</li><li>Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations.</li><li>Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products through effective merchandising and stocking practices.</li><li>Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.</li><li>Maintaining a clean and tidy store front.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.</li><li>Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment.</li><li>Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities.</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.</li><li>Ability to upsell products through persuasive communication techniques.</li><li>Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>From a scale of 1-10, how comfortable are you educating consumers about licensed adult-use cannabis?</li><li>From a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you to cannabis products?</li><li>What&rsquo;s appealing to you about the marijuana industry? </li><li>What is the difference between indica and sativa?</li><li>What would be your available days and hours to work?</li><li>What do you think makes a good budtender?</li><li>Are you 21+ ?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
