Budtender/Cashier (CP)

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis Budtender/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers with product selections, providing education about various strains and products, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
• Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects.
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy store front.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cashiering responsibilities.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Ability to upsell products through persuasive communication techniques.
• Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
