Job Description- A Licensed Child Care Center in Glen Allen ,VA is looking for a Lead Teacher(s) for 3's &amp; 4's classroom.- This position is Full time, selected candidates must be able to pass a background check, Central Registry Check, Tuberculosis test and have a valid drivers license- Selected candidates will be required to complete the required 24 hours of training by the time of joining.QUALIFICATIONS- High School Diploma - CPR, First Aid certification required.-Be available for an 8 hr shift between 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children- Plan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children- Conduct child assessments and facilitate parent-teacher conferences- Be responsible for the daily activities including play time, eating, sleeping, and rest room breaks- Be available for employment and available to work anytime between 8:30 am - 5:30 pm- Lead Teacher reports directly to the Director with any questions or concerns they have regarding the children or center policy.Please keep in mind that the above job description is meant to be a guideline and does not list in detail all of the job responsibilities of a Lead Teacher.
