Lead Teacher - 3's & 4's

Job Description

- A Licensed Child Care Center in Glen Allen ,VA is looking for a Lead Teacher(s) for 3's & 4's classroom.

- This position is Full time, selected candidates must be able to pass a background check, Central Registry Check, Tuberculosis test and have a valid drivers license

- Selected candidates will be required to complete the required 24 hours of training by the time of joining.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma
- CPR, First Aid certification required.

-Be available for an 8 hr shift between 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children

- Plan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children

- Conduct child assessments and facilitate parent-teacher conferences

- Be responsible for the daily activities including play time, eating, sleeping, and rest room breaks

- Be available for employment and available to work anytime between 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

- Lead Teacher reports directly to the Director with any questions or concerns they have regarding the children or center policy.
