 The Principal Technical Expert &ndash; AI Factory is a strategic leadership position responsible for establishing Artificial Intelligence as a core competitive capability within the Bank. Reporting to the IT General Manager through the IT Technology Factory structure, this role drives the vision, architecture, and execution of enterprise-wide AI initiatives while building and leading a world-class technical team. The position bridges innovation and operations, ensuring AI solutions deliver measurable business value while maintaining the highest standards for governance, security, and ethical compliance.
 
 
 The job holder must have solid skills, knowledge and understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science and emerging technologies, combined with expert-level strategic thinking and exceptional leadership capabilities. The role requires the ability to analyse complex technical challenges, architect scalable solutions, drive organizational transformation, and ensure implemented systems meet enterprise security, performance, and compliance benchmarks, while delivering value on time and within budget.
