 The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain execution, ensuring seamless procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor performance, while supporting the Supply Chain Head in strategic and operational decision-making.
 
 
 
 Key Result Areas (KRAs)

 Procurement &amp; Vendor Management
 </li>

 Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, and consumables as per demand plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, onboard, and manage strategic &amp; operational vendors
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead price negotiations, contract finalization, and PO management
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor vendor performance on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and compliance
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong supplier relationships and develop alternate sourcing options
 </li>
 <li>
 Logistics &amp; Transportation Management
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan and execute inbound &amp; outbound logistics efficiently across locations
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, and 3PL partners
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure on-time deliveries and minimize transit losses and damages
 </li>
 <li>
 Optimize freight cost through route planning and transporter negotiations
 </li>
 <li>
 Track logistics KPIs like OTIF (On-Time In-Full), freight cost per unit, transit time
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve logistics escalations and ensure minimal business disruption
 </li>
 <li>
 Inventory Planning &amp; Control
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement inventory control mechanisms (FIFO/FEFO, safety stock, reorder levels)
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving &amp; obsolete stock
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with operations &amp; planning teams for accurate demand forecasting
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct periodic stock audits &amp; reconciliations
 </li>
 <li>
 Improve inventory turns and working capital efficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Demand Planning &amp; Cross-Functional Coordination
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align supply with demand
 </li>
 <li>
 Support monthly/quarterly forecasting &amp; planning cycles
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure smooth new product / SKU launches from a supply readiness perspective
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a bridge between Supply Chain Head and execution teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Process Excellence &amp; Compliance
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, document, and implement SOPs for procurement &amp; logistics
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to statutory, audit, and internal compliance requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Support internal and external audits related to supply chain functions
 </li>
 <li>
 MIS, Reporting &amp; Data Analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and present daily / weekly / monthly MIS reports to Supply Chain Head
 </li>
 <li>
 Track key supply chain KPIs and highlight risks &amp; action plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Use ERP/SAP systems for data accuracy and real-time reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide insights for strategic decision-making using data analytics
 </li>
 <li>
 Team &amp; Stakeholder Management
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide and support junior team members (if applicable)
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage internal stakeholder expectations effectively
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle escalations professionally and ensure timely resolution
 
 
 </li>

 Educational Qualification
 
 
 
 MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain / Operations / Logistics
 
 
 From a Tier-1 / Premier Institute
 
 
 
 Experience Required
 
 
 
 34 years of hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations
