We are seeking a meticulous and creative Sub-Editor/Reporter to join our editorial team for the English Magazine &quot;Business News For Profit&quot; (www.businessnewsforprofit.com) . The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, an eye for detail, and a passion for producing high-quality, error-free content. You will be responsible for editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and ensuring consistency in tone, style, and accuracy across all articles before publication.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Edit and proofread articles for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.</li><li>Ensure that all content adheres to the publication&rsquo;s style guide, tone, and editorial standards.</li><li>Rewrite or restructure copy when necessary to improve clarity, flow, and engagement.</li><li>Work closely with writers and reporters to refine stories and headlines.</li><li>Check facts, statistics, and sources to maintain content credibility.</li><li>Prepare content for both print and digital formats, ensuring SEO-friendly practices for web articles.</li><li>Coordinate with designers for layout and headline placement in print editions.</li><li>Ensure deadlines are met and content schedules are maintained.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>Any Graduate</li><li>Preference will be given to Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in editing, publishing, or journalism (fresh graduates with strong skills may also apply).</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English.</li><li>Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.</li><li>Familiarity with agency feeds like IANS style guides preferred.</li><li>Basic understanding of SEO and digital publishing tools (WordPress, CMS, etc.).</li><li>Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments.</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Good grip over CMS like wordpress</li><li>Designing tools like Canva, Coreldraw, Photoshop etc.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>Passion for current affairs, business, and industry news.</li><li>Creative flair for crafting engaging headlines and improving readability.</li><li>Collaborative attitude and ability to work well with writers and editors.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;10,000.00 - &#8377;15,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
