Position: Purchase Engineer1) Key Responsibilities-Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with company policies.-Prepare and evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate contracts, and finalize purchase orders.-Maintain vendor database, track supplier performance, and build long-term relationships.-Coordinate with project, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.-Monitor inventory levels and support cost optimization initiatives.2) Required Qualifications- Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Civil Engineering or related field.-Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement/purchase within infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing sectors-Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, and BoQ preparation.-Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools-Understanding of GST, taxation, and regulatory compliance in India.3) Skills Competencies-Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.-Strong analytical ability for cost comparison and risk assessment.-Effective communication and documentation skills.-Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement cycles.-Ethical, transparent, and detail-oriented approach to purchasing.4) Preferred Attributes-Experience in Infrastructure projects and steel PEB.-Knowledge of sustainability practices and procurement.-Proficiency in drafting compliance reports and supporting audits.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Paid sick time</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vadodara, Gujarat (390021)
