About the RoleOur team is looking for a highly organized, design-savvy Interior Designer to support our growing design studio and play a key role in bringing new construction and custom homes to life!This position is tailored specifically towards assisting us in developing builder-ready build-out packages. You main role is to develop comprehensive documentation that supports builders, architects, and clients through the construction and finish selection process. This is not an entry level position &mdash; We are seeking someone who has previously worked on full-scale residential projects, and understands the rhythm of design studio workflows and can balance independence with collaborative teamwork.What You'll Do<ul><li>Support new build and renovation projects by developing comprehensive build-out packages, including:</li></ul>-Material selections (flooring, tile, paint, cabinetry, hardware)-Plumbing and lighting fixture selections-Appliance and material specifications-Finish schedules for all selections<ul><li>Prepare and maintain annotated plans, organized spec sheets, and completion of build-out packages.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors on material selections while adhering to client budgets</li><li>Collaborate with our designers to ensure alignment and accuracy</li><li>Update documentation as projects evolve and selections or availability change</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>3+ years of experience in residential interior design, with a focus on new construction or remodels</li><li>Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, trade coordination, and project timelines</li><li>Experience with tools like AutoCAD, Canva, Adobe, or design management software is a plus</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>A collaborative, flexible mindset and willingness to help build systems as our studio grows</li><li>Clear, professional communication skills</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Approximately 20 hours per week, with potential for growth as workload increases</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease email your resume and a brief portfolio or work samples highlighting residential new-build projects to info@bybrittdesign.com Location: RemoteSchedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per weekJob Type: Part-timePay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hourWork Location: In person
