Our Specialty Equipment Operator is dispatched to our job locations, which can be found all over the state of Michigan &ndash; including metro Detroit, Battle Creek, and Saginaw.

Specialty Equipment Operator &amp; Mechanic qualifications and duties include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Possesses a CDL A. CDL B applicants will be considered</li>
<li>Experienced in operating an under-bridge platform truck and other heavy equipment</li>
<li>Experience performing diesel engine diagnostics and repairs, and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs</li>
<li>Servicing a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, generators, air compressors, and specialty equipment</li>
<li>Performing routine truck/equipment maintenance and inspections</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and making general repairs</li>
<li>Operating a variety of hand and power tools</li>
<li>Working outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to, snow, rain and varying temperatures</li>
<li>Frequently required to stand, use hands to hold hand and power tools, finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally, the work requires the employee to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl</li>
<li>Works safely near and around highway traffic and noisy operations</li>
<li>Ability to lift or carry up to 10 or 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs</li></ul>
