 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 Procure permanent material and subcontractors&rsquo; services for the Area operations in a timely and cost-effective manner, and in alignment with set policies and procedures.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Duties
 
 
 
 
 Procurement &amp; Supply Chain Activities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Implement the Area strategy for procurement and subcontracting as defined and approved by Management while following and enforcing the company's policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate procurement/subcontract activities for permanent material in the Area with concerned internal and external stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review assigned requests for the purchase of material, equipment, services, and supplies ensuring they are compliant with set policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare technical and commercial information and documents to obtain relevant quotations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the research and prequalification of suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring they respond to selection criteria set by the company.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare the vendors short-list, receive quotations, develop relevant analysis, spreadsheets, and documents to compare received offers, and make appropriate recommendations accordingly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interview supplier representatives regarding specifications, costs, etc. of assigned packages and participate in the negotiation of price and payment terms with final subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Purchase Agreements as per approved submittals and ensure Purchase Orders are issued in a timely and effective manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up with suppliers on the delivery of placed orders, ensuring it is done in a timely manner and as per agreed terms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer contracts for assigned packages in coordination with the Finance Department ensuring compliance with set regulations and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with site operations to resolve issues impacting the quality and completeness of the package; promptly take corrective actions by agreeing on and monitoring recovery plans with concerned parties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the company&rsquo;s database including qualified suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain appropriate documentation relating to bids requirements, evaluations, award recommendations and post award contract management activities and records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct the periodic assessment of suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, regarding the quality, cost, delivery, service, and update the company database accordingly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop consolidated records of purchased items, including their quality and price, for future reference and capture relevant information on the ERP system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the team in all matters relating to permanent material purchasing and logistics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the development and institutionalisation of C.A.T.&rsquo;s procurement, supply chain and logistics know-how, controls, and capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and recommend opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements while ensuring compliance with technical and business requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in reporting on procurement and supply chain activities to keep Management informed.
 </li>
 </ul>

 Carry out other similar duties that can be defined within the broad functional job and functional responsibilities outlined above and as instructed by the immediate manager.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering (Any Discipline)
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 7 years&rsquo; experience in Procurement/Supply Chain management
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of construction material and equipment (technical and commercial)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent command of English and Arabic is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have proven work experience with ADNOC.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent computer skills
 </li>
