Earnings: £58,000 - £67,000 per year Permanent Full-Time Main Dealer Career Progression Training Provided C&B Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a successful and busy main dealer workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated technician to join a well-established franchised dealership group offering excellent earnings, structured training, and long-term career progression. We are looking for a qualified individual with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. HGV Technician Role and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a range of heavy goods vehicles to manufacturer standards</li> <li>Perform diagnostics and fault finding using the latest commercial vehicle equipment</li> <li>Complete DVSA safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT (if qualified)</li> <li>Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work required</li> <li>Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and service records</li> <li>Liaise with service advisors and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow</li> <li>Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations</li> </ul> HGV Technician Requirements: <ul> <li>Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair essential</li> <li>Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic essential</li> <li>HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable</li> <li>Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities</li> <li>Full UK Driving Licence essential</li> <li>A reliable, team-focused individual with a professional attitude and a commitment to excellence</li> </ul> Benefits: <ul> <li>£58,000 to £67,000 per year depending on experience and performance</li> <li>Uncapped bonus scheme</li> <li>Ongoing manufacturer and HGV-specific training and accreditation</li> <li>Full pension scheme</li> <li>Private healthcare plan</li> <li>Clear path for career progression within a growing dealer group</li> <li>Access to a modern workshop with state-of-the-art commercial vehicle facilities</li> <li>Supportive and inclusive team environment</li> <li>Technician incentives, rewards, and recognition schemes</li> </ul> If you are a skilled HGV Technician looking for a fresh challenge with excellent earning potential and long-term career development, apply today!
