This paid position offers a chance to develop your skills within a vibrant logistics and fleet management environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Receive and prioritize towing requests via multi-line phone systems and digital platforms, ensuring timely dispatching of tow trucks.</li><li>Utilize GPS, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and transportation management systems such as Towbook to locate vehicles, plan routes, and optimize dispatch operations.</li><li>Coordinate with drivers, and customers to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently.</li><li>Maintain accurate data entry of all dispatch activities, including unit details, vehicle status updates, and incident reports.</li><li>Monitor fleet management systems to track vehicle locations, statuses, and maintenance needs while ensuring compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Communicate clearly with drivers and customers using professional phone etiquette and effective communication skills to resolve issues promptly.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in dispatching within towing environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GPS technology, dispatch software, and computers.</li><li>Familiarity with fleet management.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally.</li><li>Demonstrated analysis skills for transportation planning and supply chain optimization.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy using typing skills on various platforms including Towbook.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
