Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming shopping experience for every customer. Must be able to multitask.Duties<ul><li>Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges</li><li>Greet customers warmly, offering assistance with product selection and store navigation</li><li>Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision</li><li>Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and promote sales</li><li>Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction</li><li>Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience</li><li>Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking and inventory counts to support store operations</li><li>Demonstrate strong communication skills, including phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person</li><li>Support team efforts through supervising experience when needed, guiding new team members or assisting with training</li><li>Know how to use a fryer we have a hot box</li><li>Be able to multitask</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus</li><li>Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members</li><li>Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations</li><li>Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous</li><li>Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos is beneficial</li><li>Supervising experience is a plus for supporting team leadership activities</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a lively retail environment!
