Location: Sugar Land, TX Salary: $65,000&ndash;$80,000We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support multiple small business clients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end close</li><li>Prepare financial statements and workpapers</li><li>Bank and credit card reconciliations</li><li>Accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Payroll processing and payroll tax compliance</li><li>Sales tax return preparation</li><li>W-2 and 1099 preparation</li><li>Texas Franchise Tax reports and property tax renditions</li><li>New business registrations and state compliance filings</li><li>Respond to IRS and state notices</li><li>Client communication and support</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop</li><li>Experience with Gusto, ADP, or similar payroll platforms</li><li>Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and financial reporting</li><li>Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>CPA firm, bookkeeping firm, or outsourced accounting experience</li><li>Experience with Texas sales tax, franchise tax, and renditions</li><li>Experience working directly with small business owners</li></ul>Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Balance sheet reconciliation: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>Sales Tax: 3 years (Preferred)</li><li>Payroll Process: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sugar Land, TX 77478
