Senior Accountant / Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Location: Sugar Land, TX
Salary: $65,000–$80,000

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support multiple small business clients.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end close
• Prepare financial statements and workpapers
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Payroll processing and payroll tax compliance
• Sales tax return preparation
• W-2 and 1099 preparation
• Texas Franchise Tax reports and property tax renditions
• New business registrations and state compliance filings
• Respond to IRS and state notices
• Client communication and support

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
• Experience with Gusto, ADP, or similar payroll platforms
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Preferred

• CPA firm, bookkeeping firm, or outsourced accounting experience
• Experience with Texas sales tax, franchise tax, and renditions
• Experience working directly with small business owners

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
