The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.Duties<ul><li>Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.</li><li>Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems</li><li>Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.</li><li>Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special dietary needs.</li><li>Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about menu items, reservations, and events.</li><li>Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and guest interaction techniques.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a host/host or server in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with team members and customers.</li><li>Familiarity with food service operations and hospitality standards is highly desirable.</li><li>Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is an advantage.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>A friendly demeanor coupled with the ability to handle stressful situations gracefully.
