Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special dietary needs.
• Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about menu items, reservations, and events.
• Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and guest interaction techniques.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/host or server in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with team members and customers.
• Familiarity with food service operations and hospitality standards is highly desirable.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
