Position Summary
The Operational Compliance Officer supports the Nursing Home Administrator in the overall management and leadership of the facility. This role assists in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development and effective daily operations. The Operational Compliance Officer serves as a key liaison among departments and may assume full administrative responsibilities at the direction of, or in the absence of, the Administrator.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Assist the Administrator in overseeing daily operations of the facility, ensuring resident care and services are delivered with quality, compassion, and in compliance with federal and state regulations.</li><li>
Support departmental directors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with center and organizational goals.</li><li>
Monitor regulatory compliance, help prepare for surveys and assist in responding to deficiencies and plans of correction.</li><li>
Responsible for overseeing compliance and risk management activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and promote resident safety.</li><li>
Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Serve as acting Administrator in their absence, as designated.</li><li>
Participate in committee meetings, and emergency preparedness planning.</li><li>
Interacts with all facility personnel and departments as necessary or directed by Administrator.</li><li>
Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas, and/or improvement of services.</li><li>
Assure that resident concerns and grievances are followed up appropriately and in compliance with regulations.</li><li>
Assist the NHA with any and all priorities required to maintain the highest level of resident and care adherence to state and federal regulations.</li><li>
Reviews all facility incidents/events and participates in any internal investigations, as needed, to assure that all are accurate and thorough, root cause analysis was completed and that appropriate interventions were implemented.</li><li>
Assist to develop and implement corrective action plan when deficiencies are identified on state and federal surveys.</li><li>
Review 24-hour nursing report to ensure timely, effective responses to significant changes in resident condition, transfers, discharges, unexplained injuries, falls, behavior episodes, medication errors, etc.</li><li>
Participate in daily/weekly/monthly management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, and/or resident concerns.</li><li>
Proficient in basic requirements of various departments to fulfill essential duties in the event of vacancy or unexpected leave of absence of the director.</li></ul><ul><li>
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in good standing</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is preferred.</li><li>
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility with prior supervisory or administrative experience strongly REQUIRED.</li></ul></div>

Position Description
As the facility Human Resources Director you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of the Human Resource function for our skilled nursing center; including, but not limited to, Human Resource policies, programs and practices.
The Human Resources Director is also responsible for ensuring compliance with the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, regulatory, payroll, training, employment, and employee welfare programs.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Implement full-cycle recruitment, onboarding of new employees, and employee retention</li><li>
Administer compensation, benefits, and workers compensation</li><li>
Implement and maintain employee relations, conflict resolution, and training and compliance with applicable State and Federal laws</li><li>
Maintain an effective and efficient payroll system</li><li>
Maintain employee files in accordance to federal regulations</li><li>
Enforce facility policies and procedures</li></ul><ul><li>
Minimum of 3 years experience in an HR Role Required</li><li>
Must have prior experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care Facility</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Human Resource Management preferred</li><li>
Must have experience using an ATS</li><li>
Must be able to multitask</li><li>
Must have excellent written and oral skills</li><li>
