Job Title: Server Job Type: Part-Time / Full-TimePay: 10 per hour plus tipsJob Summary:The Server at Cahoots Rockford is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner. This role involves interacting with families, groups, and individuals of all ages, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every guest. The Server plays a vital role in maintaining a fun and welcoming environment, all while promoting our menu offerings and upholding high standards of service.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Customer Service:</li><li>Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor as they arrive and guide them to their table.</li><li>Provide guests with information about the menu, daily specials, and promotions in a friendly and engaging manner.</li><li>Answer any questions guests may have about food, beverages, and dietary restrictions.</li><li>Ensure guests are comfortable, making them feel welcome and valued throughout their visit.</li><li>Anticipate guests&rsquo; needs, ensuring they have everything they need, including refills, condiments, and napkins, without having to ask.</li><li>Respond to customer complaints or issues promptly, professionally, and escalate to management when necessary.</li><li>Order Taking &amp; Service:</li><li>Accurately take food and drink orders from guests and input them into the POS system.</li><li>Suggestively sell menu items to increase sales (e.g., upselling appetizers, desserts, drinks).</li><li>Serve food and beverages in a timely, efficient manner while ensuring all orders are correct and presented well.</li><li>Check in with guests after their meals to ensure satisfaction and offer additional items or services as needed.</li><li>Provide detailed information about our entertainment offerings, encouraging guests to engage with activities such as games, bowling, or mini-golf.</li><li>Food &amp; Beverage Knowledge:</li><li>Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any potential allergens.</li><li>Know and understand the available drink and cocktail menu and be able to offer recommendations.</li><li>Assist guests with understanding menu options, including accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.</li><li>Team Collaboration:</li><li>Work together with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.</li><li>Communicate with the kitchen to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and on time.</li><li>Assist other team members when necessary, such as helping clear tables or refilling drinks during busy shifts.</li><li>Cash Handling &amp; Payment Processing:</li><li>Accurately handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions.</li><li>Provide correct change and receipts to guests.</li><li>Close out checks promptly, ensuring that any additional charges (e.g., tips, specials) are applied appropriately.</li><li>Cleaning &amp; Maintenance:</li><li>Ensure that tables are cleaned and reset between guests.</li><li>Keep the dining area neat and organized, ensuring that condiments, utensils, and supplies are replenished as needed.</li><li>Help maintain cleanliness throughout the front-of-house area, including restrooms, seating areas, and floors.</li><li>Promote Entertainment &amp;
