Certified Bilingual Medical AssistantThe Certified Medical Assistant supports daily clinic operations in a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes, serving patients of all ages, including pediatric populations. This role includes a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities and requires flexibility to travel between clinic locations within the Inland Empire.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing medical group and durther develop your skills in a supportive and team-oriented setting.Schedule<ul><li>Monday - Friday, 8:300AM - 5:00PM</li><li>Overtime may be required based on operational needs and will be compensated in accordance with California Law</li></ul>Travel Requirements<ul><li>Travel to various clinic locations within the Inland Empire required</li><li>Use of personal vehicle required</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between clinic locations</li><li>Must maintain valid auto insurance in accordance with California requirements</li><li>Mileage reimbursement provided in accordance with company policy</li></ul>Duties &amp; ResponsibilitiesClinic Support<ul><li>Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with examinations, procedures, and treatments</li><li>Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and lab areas</li><li>Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations)</li><li>Perform clinical procedures and diagnostic tests including UA, EKGs, TB skin tests, immunizations, COVID testing, throat cultures, and assist with pap smears</li><li>Perform blood draws, administer injections, and medications as directed by providers</li><li>Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care</li><li>Maintain and update clinical logs (e.g., refrigerator/freezer temperature logs, oxygen logs)</li><li>Prepare instruments and supplies for provider use during exams</li><li>Assist with the care and support of pediatric patients, ensuring a sage, calm, and patient-friendly environment</li><li>Provide Spanish interpretation support for patients during visits</li></ul>Administrative &amp; Front Office Support<ul><li>Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner</li><li>Manage patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance eligibility, collect co-payments, and update records</li><li>Schedule appointments, procedures, and follow-ups with accurate data entry</li><li>Handle incoming calls, triage inquiries, route messages, and document communications</li><li>Process referrals and maintain accurate patient records</li><li>Scan, upload, and manage medical documentation</li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements</li><li>Assist with front office duties as needed to support clinic operation</li><li>Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and lab areas</li><li>Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations)</li><li>Perform clinical procedures and diagnostic tests including UA, EKGs, TB skin tests, immunizations, COVID testing, throat cultures, and assist with pap smears</li><li>Perform blood draws, administer injections, and medications as directed by providers</li><li>Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care</li><li>Maintain and update clinical logs (e.g., refrigerator/freezer temperature logs, oxygen logs)</li><li>Prepare instruments and supplies for provider use during exams</li><li>Provide Spanish interpretation support for patients during visits</li></ul>QualificationsEducation<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Medical Assistant diploma or certification required</li></ul>Licensure/Certification<ul><li>Current BLS Certification</li><li>Venipuncture certification preferred</li><li>Valid Driver's License required</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an internal medicine or similar clinical setting required</li><li>Experience working with pediatric patients preferred</li><li>Experience in both front and back office functions required</li></ul>Clinical Skills<ul><li>Proficient in taking and recording vital signs, including proper blood pressure technique</li></ul>Interpersonal Skills<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations</li><li>Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed</li><li>Demonstrates integrity, reliability, adaptability, and strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to communication effectively with both adult and pediatric patients, as well as their families</li></ul>Additional Requirements <ul><li>Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times</li><li>Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused approach</li><li>Strong customer service skills</li></ul>Work Location <ul><li>Primary location: 701 Highland Springs Ave, Suite 5, Beaumont, CA 92223</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements<ul><li>In-office position (remote work not available)</li><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods</li><li>Frequent walking, bending, and movement throughout the clinic</li><li>Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling items up to 25lbs</li><li>Frequent use of hands for clinical and administrative tasks</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers</li></ul>Compensation &amp;
