We&rsquo;ve partnered with a well-established Miami law firm seeking a Billing &amp; Trust Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a full-time, in-office role offering strong visibility with leadership and the opportunity to own billing operations, trust accounting, and collections processes. What you&rsquo;ll be responsible for:<ul><li>
Full-cycle legal billing (traditional + electronic)</li><li>
Applying client billing guidelines, rates, and fee structures</li><li>
Managing pre-bills, edits, transfers, and attorney follow-ups</li><li>
Monitoring e-billing platforms, resolving rejections, and tracking approvals</li><li>
Reconciling invoices and submissions within TABS</li><li>
Processing client payments and resolving account discrepancies</li><li>
Supporting collections efforts (statements, follow-ups, aging)</li><li>
Handling trust accounting transactions (deposits, wires, disbursements) in TABS</li><li>
Preparing weekly billing reports and forecasts for leadership</li><li>
Assisting with billing goals, reporting needs, and special projects</li></ul>
What you bring:<ul><li>
3&ndash;5 years of law firm billing experience (required)</li><li>
Experience with electronic billing platforms</li><li>
TABS3 experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and organization</li><li>
Analytical mindset with solid math skills</li><li>
Ability to generate and present reports</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)</li><li>
Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus</li></ul>

Billing and Trust Accounting Specialist

<div>Accounts Payable Coordinator In-Office (Hybrid after 90 Days)
We are partnering with a reputable Miami-based law firm to hire an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support their accounting operations. This is a full-time, onsite position with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (1 remote day/week) after 90 days.
 Compensation: $28&ndash;$32/hour (DOE)
 Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Accurately process, code, and input vendor invoices</li><li>
Liaise with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies</li><li>
Prepare and distribute payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)</li><li>
Monitor and track client-related expenses and firm costs</li><li>
Perform account reconciliations (bank, credit card, vendor)</li><li>
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes</li><li>
Maintain organized financial records for audit readiness and compliance</li><li>
Produce AP aging reports, cash flow reports, and related financial summaries</li><li>
Oversee petty cash and assist with IOLTA trust account postings</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3>
✔️ 3&ndash;5 years of Accounts Payable experience (law firm background preferred) 
✔️ Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or equivalent hands-on experience 
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
✔️ Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume invoicing 
✔️ Strong communication skills with a focus on vendor relations 
✔️ Demonstrated discretion when handling sensitive financial information
