This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, fun setting.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit </li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS </li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met </li><li>Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to uphold safety standards </li><li>Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities </li><li>Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms </li><li>Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with guest requests </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations </li><li>Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms </li><li>Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols </li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor </li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly </li><li>Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable </li><li>Knowledge of OpenTable reservations system and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities </li><li>Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of menu items </li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy </li><li>Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members effectively </li><li>Demonstrated ability to build guest rapport and ensure memorable dining experiences</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest&rsquo;s visit extraordinary!
