Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation to uphold safety standards
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with guest requests
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of OpenTable reservations system and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of menu items
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members effectively
• Demonstrated ability to build guest rapport and ensure memorable dining experiences

Pay: $22.04 - $26.55 per hour
