Senior Accountant (Full-Time)We are a fractional CFO and accounting firm specializing in construction, real estate, and professional services. We help businesses streamline financial operations, strengthen cash flow, and scale profitably.We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong construction industry experience to join our growing team. This role is critical in managing client financials, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting CFO-level decision-making.Key Responsibilities&middot; AIA Billing &amp; Construction Accounting&middot; Prepare, review, and process AIA billings and related documentation.&middot; Manage contract billing, retainage, and compliance with client requirements.&middot; Accounts Payable (AP) &amp; Accounts Receivable (AR)&middot; Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and subcontractor compliance.&middot; Monitor collections, prepare AR aging, and ensure timely payments from clients.&middot; Payroll Processing&middot; Manage and process payroll for multiple clients across different states.&middot; Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.&middot; Prepare payroll reports and assist with year-end filings (W-2, 1099, etc.).&middot; Bank Reconciliations &amp; Cash Management&middot; Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.&middot; Support cash flow management and reporting for client accounts.&middot; Month-End Close &amp; Financial Reporting&middot; Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.&middot; Generate and review financial statements (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).&middot; Assist with budget-to-actual reporting and variance analysis.QualificationsEducation &amp; Experience:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.&middot; 5+ years of accounting experience, minimum 2 years in the construction industry.&middot; Strong knowledge of AIA billing, retainage, and job-cost accounting.&middot; Experience processing payroll for multiple clients&middot; Proficiency in AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.&middot; Experience with construction/project accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, Procore, or similar).&middot; Advanced Excel skills; ability to create pivot tables, analyze data, and build financial reports.&middot; Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.Skills &amp; Attributes:<ul><li>Strong understanding of AP, AR, and payroll processes.</li><li>Exceptional communication and client service skills to work directly with business owners and leadership teams.</li><li>Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.</li><li>Self-motivated with strong time management skills&mdash;able to work independently and meet deadlines.</li><li>Flexible and adaptable&mdash;thrives in a fast-paced, remote, team-oriented environment.</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: From &#8377;65,000.00 per month
