Capital Region Orthopaedics (The Bone &amp; Joint Center) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Medical Claims Specialist in our Business Office! (This position is full-time, days, Monday - Friday)The position duties and responsibilities will be a combination of the following:<ul><li>Posting manual &amp; electronic insurance payments.</li><li>Research claims &amp; denials to obtain timely payment.</li><li>Daily correspondence with patients &amp; insurance companies.</li><li>Posting of EOBs</li><li>Other ancillary office tasks as required</li></ul>Essential skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>High school or equivalent</li><li>Ability or experience working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Successful candidates must have 2+ years&rsquo; experience in a medical billing office.</li><li>Candidates should have a strong understanding of medical terminology, as well as the ability to multi-task, perform accurate arithmetical functions, and be highly organized with excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ability or experience working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Detail-oriented and professional</li></ul>Our MissionAt The Bone &amp; Joint Center, our success begins with the people who make up our team.
