Job Title: CDL Class A Delivery Driver

Pay Rate: $28.85/hour Plus Competitive Performance Bonus

Delivery Schedule: 
Full-time, local delivery routes 
4 days per week 
10&ndash;12-hour shifts

4:00 am Start Time

Job Description:

We are seeking CDL Class A Drivers to service established commercial accounts within a defined local territory. Drivers are responsible for operating a delivery vehicle, servicing accounts, and executing in-store merchandising standards.
<ul>
<li>Operate a CDL Class A vehicle on an assigned local delivery route</li>
<li>Deliver product to a variety of commercial customer locations, including foodservice accounts</li>
<li>Unload product using pallet jacks and hand trucks and place in designated areas</li>
<li>Merchandise product by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining display standards</li>
<li>Set up promotional materials such as pricing signage and displays as needed</li>
<li>Verify delivery documentation, generate invoices, and complete daily settlement of deliveries</li>
<li>Maintain professional working relationships with store management and receiving personnel</li>
<li>Complete all scheduled stops and service requirements within assigned shift</li>
</ul>
Job Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be 23 years of age or older</li>
<li>Must have Class A CDL</li>
<li>Must have DOT Medical Card</li>
<li>Minimum of 2-year driving experience</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry 20-45 lbs repeatedly during shift</li>
<li>Ability to operate pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks</li>
<li>Ability to read, complete, and maintain required delivery and DOT documentation</li>
<li>Strong customer service and communicating skills</li>
<li>Must successfully complete pre-employment Drug and background screening and motor vehicle history review in accordance with company and DOT standards</li>

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for auditing the quality of incoming loads, ensuring compliance with established standards, and identifying any deviations.

The opportunity:

<li>Observe the quality of loads on arrival</li>
<li>Taking pictures of compliance violations using multiple angles if necessary</li>
<li>Identify and document root causes through tablet procedures</li>
<li>Validate information prior to reporting violations</li>
<li>Multiple software applications for data entry</li>
<li>Log and report findings to manager</li>
<li>Timely &amp; Accurate observation reporting</li>
<li>Working in the multi temp environments</li>
</ul>
