Manufacturing Controller - Defence SectorJoin a leading defence organisation as a Manufacturing Controller, supporting increased workload across production operations. Manufacturing Controller

Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Specialist ConsultantJoin a leading defence organisation as a GFE Specialist Consultant, supporting the management, compliance, and assurance of Government Furnished Equipment across UK defence programmes.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide expert consultancy on GFE requirements under MoD and international defence contracts.</li><li>Interpret DEFCONs, DEFSTAN 05-099, and related clauses to advise on compliance and risk.</li><li>Develop and refine GFE processes, tools, and training across the organisation.</li><li>Conduct internal audits and readiness reviews to ensure GFE compliance.</li><li>Support programme teams in planning, usage, and disposal of GFE assets.</li><li>Engage with stakeholders including MoD, subcontractors, and internal teams.</li><li>Report on GFE status, risks, and performance metrics.</li></ul>Essential Skills & Experience:<ul><li>Proven background in GFE or asset management within defence/aerospace.</li><li>Strong understanding of MoD contractual frameworks (e.g., DEFCON 23, 611, 694, 76).</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data reporting tools.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder engagement and advisory capabilities.</li><li>Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC minimum).</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li>Military background or experience in defence supply chain.</li><li>Qualifications in Supply Chain, Asset or Contract Management (e.g., CIPS, APICS).</li><li>Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.</li></ul>Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
