To perform service, (preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on equipment, at assigned Hiab locations in line with Manager&rsquo;s instructions. Responsible for contributing to productive customer relationships as well as following Best Practice in all administrative and technical activities.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key responsibilities</b></h2></div><p></p><div><br>
<ul>
<li>Inspect, perform service, troubleshoot (preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on the following equipment: Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders &amp; Hoists in line with Manager&rsquo;s instructions</li>
<li>Follow applicable safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements</li>
<li>Staying up to date with technical developments as shown in internal service bulletins and completing technical courses when instructed by District Service Manager</li>
<li>Respond to customer&rsquo;s queries and concerns to maximize customer satisfaction &amp; follow Hiab Customer Satisfaction Guidelines</li>
<li>Keep adequate records, maintain documentation &amp; submit daily reports in the format specified by the District Service Manager</li>
<li>Recognize sales opportunities and communicate to District Service Manager</li>
<li>Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary</li>
<li>Conduct self at all times in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follow rules of the Quality System</li>

<ul>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-year DOT Medical Card is required for this position</li>
<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License is required
<ul><li>No more than one moving violation in the last year, or two violations within a two year time frame. All violations will be reviewed</li>
</ul></li><li>High School diploma or equivalent is required</li>
<li>3+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations</li>
<li>Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Own tools required</li>
<li>Know, understand and comply with Hiab USA, Inc. Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions</li>

<li>Maintain daily invoicing in line with relevant customer requirements, and investigate billing issues, process credits and rebills</li>
<li>Ensure daily technician time entries are accurate for payroll and utilization tracking</li>
<li>Process expense reports for technicians</li>
<li>Open, receive, and process purchase orders</li>
<li>Collaborate with Service Team Lead on managing open orders and PMs</li>
<li>Assist in processing over the counter parts sales</li>
<li>Support Service Team Lead with recording customer contact email in Salesforce</li>

<li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>3+ years customer service experience</li>
<li>Accounts Payable (Basware)</li>
<li>SAP experience is a plus</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to details while exhibiting excellent data entry skills</li>
