Job Details:
A Janitor is responsible for keeping the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected. The requirements listed below are responsibilities and skill requirements. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks.
</li><li>Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. (Offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas).
</li><li>Cleaning stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
</li><li>Keep furniture free of dust. As well as lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings.
</li><li>Leaving empty trash cans, as well as cleaning trash cans and ashtrays.
</li><li>Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
</li><li>Clean and maintain restrooms, as well as replenish supplies in this area and where required.
</li><li>Washing and cleaning windows and mirrors.
</li><li>Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area.
</li><li>Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary.
</li><li>Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies in stock and, if applicable, request missing materials from your supervisors.
</li><li>Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or conditions requiring maintenance.
</li><li>Maintain a cleaning chart indicating the areas that were cleaned and inspected.
</li><li>Follow safety and precaution rules.
</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
</li><li>Close doors at the end of the night shift.

Descripci&oacute;n del Puesto:
Un Janitor es el encargado de mantener el lugar de trabajo limpio, organizado y desinfectado. Los requisitos enumerados a continuaci&oacute;n son las responsabilidades y habilidades requeridas.
Responsabilidades:
<ul><li>Limpiar el interior de edificios, incluidos pisos, alfombras, tapetes, ventanas, paredes y tareas generales.
</li><li>Aspirar, barrer y trapear pisos. Oficinas, habitaciones, pasillos, vest&iacute;bulos, salones, ascensores, escaleras, &aacute;rea de lockers (locker room) y otras ares de trabajo.
</li><li>Limpieza de manchas de sillas y muebles tapizados.
</li><li>Mantener mobiliario libre de polvo. As&iacute; como accesorios de iluminaci&oacute;n, superficies de m&aacute;rmol y molduras.
</li><li>Dejar botes de basura vac&iacute;os, as&iacute; como limpieza de botes de basura, papeleras y ceniceros.
</li><li>Desinfecte art&iacute;culos de uso com&uacute;n como escritorios, manijas de puertas, herramientas de oficina y tel&eacute;fonos.
</li><li>Limpiar y mantener los ba&ntilde;os, as&iacute; como reabastecer suministros en esta &aacute;rea y donde sea requerido.
</li><li>Lavado y limpieza de cristales y espejos.
</li><li>Vaciar contenedores de basura y reciclaje al &aacute;rea de eliminaci&oacute;n.
</li><li>Limpiar basura y nieve de las aceras en caso de ser necesario.
</li><li>Mantener el inventario de suministros de limpieza en stock y en su caso solicitar materiales faltantes a tus supervisores.
</li><li>Notificar a los supervisores sobre condiciones inseguras o que requieran mantenimiento.
</li><li>Mantener un cuadro de limpieza que indique las &aacute;reas que fueron limpiadas e inspeccionadas.
</li><li>Seguir reglas de seguridad y precauci&oacute;n.
</li><li>Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras.
</li><li>Cerrar las puertas al final del turno de noche.

Job Details:
A Day porter is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Spot clean the lobby glass doors
</li><li>Polish chrome on lobby doors
</li><li>Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
</li><li>Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
</li><li>Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
</li><li>Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
</li><li>Check restrooms twice daily
</li><li>Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
</li><li>Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
</li><li>Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
</li><li>Sweep building entrances
</li><li>Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
</li><li>Report any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management Office
</li><li>Report any solicitors to the Management Office
</li><li>Where applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day. Empty all trash receptacles
</li><li>Vacuum carpeted floors
</li><li>Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
</li><li>Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
</li><li>Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion
