Right now, the role is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. Training will be in person to start, and after training the position becomes a virtual work-from-home role, which is a major perk for the right person.This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and can keep a lot of moving parts organized during a busy season.About Celtic Quest Fishing FleetCeltic Quest Fishing Fleet is a family-owned and operated fishing business based in Port Jefferson, Long Island. We serve thousands of customers each season and are known for great service, a friendly atmosphere, and helping people feel welcome from the moment they contact us.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Answer phones and help customers with questions</li><li>Take reservations and bookings</li><li>Help customers with trip information, pricing, scheduling, and policies</li><li>Provide excellent customer service before and after trips</li><li>Respond to online inquiries and messages</li><li>Chat with customers and potential customers on social media</li><li>Help maintain a smooth, welcoming, professional customer experience</li><li>Support the office with general admin tasks as needed</li></ul>We&rsquo;re Looking For Someone Who Is<ul><li>Friendly, upbeat, and professional</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Comfortable talking with people all day</li><li>Strong with customer service and communication</li><li>Confident handling bookings, scheduling, and customer questions</li><li>Able to stay calm and positive during busy periods</li><li>Comfortable using computers, email, booking systems, and social media</li><li>Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently after training</li></ul>Bonus If You Have<ul><li>Experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or office administration</li><li>Experience with booking or reservation systems</li><li>Experience handling social media messages or online customer communication</li><li>Experience in charter, tourism, event, or marine-related businesses</li></ul>What Matters MostWe are looking for the right person, not just a r&eacute;sum&eacute;.
