<p>As a Security Team Member, you are the frontline guardian of our guest experience. You will ensure a safe and welcoming environment by staying alert, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to needs with both authority and empathy.</p>
<p>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</p>
<p>Maintain Site Safety: Proactively patrol property grounds and monitor entry/exit points, including performing thorough bag checks.</p>
<p>Enforce Safety Standards: Ensure guests follow venue policies&mdash;such as ride restrictions and food/beverage rules&mdash;to keep everyone safe.</p>
<p>Manage Crowd Flow: Monitor high-traffic areas and use professional de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts or handle rule violations.Be a</p>
<p>Guest Ambassador: Support a fun atmosphere by providing clear communication and assistance to visitors whenever needed.</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Basic Qualifications and Skills</b></h2>

<ul><li>Effective communication skills to convey information clearly and courteously.</li>
<li>Strong service orientation by actively seeking ways to assist guests.</li>
<li>Active listening skills, including giving full attention, understanding points made, and asking appropriate questions.</li>
<li>Social perceptiveness to be aware of others&rsquo; reactions and understand their causes.</li>
<li>Basic computer literacy to operate security systems and write incident reports.</li>
<li>Time management and supervisory skills to manage one&rsquo;s own time and assist in overseeing others.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of professionalism and embody the CELTS Spirit.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Desired Qualifications and Skills</b></h2>
<ul><li>Post-secondary education in a Law or Security program, or previous experience in a similar or related field.</li>
<li>Strong writing and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to organize work, plan activities, and set priorities effectively.</li>
<li>A friendly and pleasant personality demonstrating maturity and sound judgment.</li>
<li>Standard First Aid and CPR Certification.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Even Better If You Have:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Ability to speak a second language.</li>
<li>Security experience in an amusement park or waterpark setting.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Additional Requirements</b></h2>
<ul><li>Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather, including heat and humidity.</li>
<li>Availability to work weekends, holidays, and sometimes in isolation.</li>
<li>Creativity, flexibility, and strong problem-solving capabilities.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) issued by the Illinois Department of Financial &amp; Professional Regulation (IDFPR).</li>
