Minimum Requirements:High school graduate with education or experience in addressing domestic and sexual violence, stalking and human trafficking, valid driver&rsquo;s license and insurance, ability to work in crisis situations as a team member and independently, self motivated, adequate understanding of clients who have A &amp; D and/or mental health issues.Preferred Requirements: College degree in related fieldJob DescriptionServing those affected by Sexual Violence by providing one-on-one advocacy and/or hospital accompaniment in Maury, Giles, Lawrence and Wayne Counties.Serving those affected by Domestic Violence by providing Court Advocacy in Giles, and Lawrence Counties.<ul><li>Available to make follow up calls on regular schedule and explain services available through Center of Hope.</li><li>Determine needs of clients and shelter admission, if appropriate.</li><li>Set up appointments for face to face follow up.</li><li>Develop a safety plan.</li><li>Maintain a safe and open environment for clients to discuss their concerns and needs.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date, accurate and understandable records</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrate supportive, positive, trauma-informed care approach toward clients<ul><li>Skilled in addressing the special needs of victims, while displaying a compassionate and professional approach.</li><li>Ability to effectively network with other agencies and the community, by accessing services available to the client population.</li><li>Always communicates clearly, using words and styles of presentation which are appropriate for the situation.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills; able to meet deadlines.</li><li>Communicates in a positive manner with all team members.</li><li>Available for on-call</li><li>Ability to assist with donations; processing and distribution.</li><li>Conduct self in a professional manner.</li><li>Available to work flexible days and hours.</li><li>Comply with established standards of care for clients.</li><li>Adhere to staff code of conduct, including confidentiality agreements and other requirements.</li></ul>Please e-mail resume, cover letter and three professional references.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
