Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the ongoing success of our operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.</li><li>Perform mechanical repairs, including welding and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support manufacturing or facility operations.</li><li>Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, HVAC servicing, and residential painting projects.</li><li>Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.</li><li>Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during complex repairs or projects, demonstrating leadership and ensuring safety compliance.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and equipment status to support ongoing facility management.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles within manufacturing or residential environments.</li><li>Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and work safely with electrical systems.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).</li><li>Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.</li><li>Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams or projects is preferred.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English across diverse teams.</li><li>Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is a plus.
